Does nonpolar mean hydrophobic or hydrophilic?

Asked by Haylee Daniels

Nonpolar molecules are hydrophobic; “hydro-” means water and “-phobic” means fear. Nonpolar molecule are water fearing and do not easily dissolve in water.
